25 lb. BRADLEY BEAM HAMMER

bradley.jpg (30206 bytes)This late 1800's to 1900 blacksmiths beam hammer needs work but all parts are there. Needs new wood for arm. Nothing is frozen. Foot bar and clutch mechanism are with it.

Antique  MAINE CANOE SEATS ~ W. F. Tubbs Co.

seat.jpg (73222 bytes)Estimated to be from the late 1800's to the very early 1900's,these two snowshoe type canoe seats each have the original metal oval ID plate that reads: W.F. Tubbs Co., SNO (with the trademark of a crossed pair of snowshoes) SHU CHAIR, Norway, Me. U.S.A., Pat. Appd for. The bow seat (smaller- 25 3/4" tall x 15 1/4" wide x 22" deep) is for the sportsmen and the stern seat (larger- 31 1/2" tall x 15 1/4" wide x 22" deep) is for the guide. The craftsmanship is seat1.jpg (65120 bytes)wonderful with solid oak bent frames. Both are in terrific condition.  The "cat gut" remains strong ranging in widths from 1/8" to 1/4".  Both seats fold for transportation and storage. These canoe seats are in excellent condition. SOLD

 


STANLEY #45 PLANE w/ CUTTERS & BOX

This terrific Stanley #45 combination plane come complete with 23 cutters, original pasteboard box and Stanley booklet advertising other Stanley tools ( a 23 page catalog of tool chest, tool cabinets and the contents). The plane measures 10 ½" long. It is nickel plated cast iron with rosewood handles and fence. This was a used plane, however, is very clean. All parts are complete and intact. There are No chips, cracks or breaks in this tool. The box with end label is in fairly good condition with the top label gone and some corners coming apart. This is a nice shiny plane for use or display. The set weighs 10 lbs.. This Stanley #45 w/ cutters and box are in VERY GOOD condition. SOLD
